Soleca fits Aluplast uPVC frames, with 42 mm HR+++ glazing and SKG** locking hardware as standard.
The Aluplast uPVC frames Soleca fits are expected to last 50 years or more. With sound installation, normal use and periodic maintenance, the technical lifespan can reach around 75 years. uPVC does not rot or warp, and needs no painting to reach that lifespan.
No, uPVC frames never need painting. Cleaning them with water and a mild cleaner is enough. That is the main difference from timber frames, which need repainting outside every five to eight years and can develop rot if that maintenance is skipped.
Soleca works largely with Aluplast Ideal 7000 NL, a profile system of German top quality with a 120 mm installation depth and closed steel reinforcement in the frame. Which configuration suits each window or door opening is decided during the advice visit.
Yes. Every Soleca frame comes with SKG** locking hardware and reinforced profiles as standard. If you want the highest available class, SKG*** is possible for a small additional cost. Which measures make sense depends on the location: an accessible window or a street-facing front door needs more attention than a window at height.
Every RAL-certified colour is available. Cream, white and anthracite are chosen most often, but if you want the frames to match a specific colour on your home, that is possible. Alongside colour, we also match the woodgrain, window layout and operation to the property.
For new frames, 42 mm HR+++ glazing is the Soleca standard: three panes with two insulating cavities. HR++ glazing is the alternative where triple glazing is not technically necessary or possible. Solar-control, acoustic and safety glazing are available where the location or use of the room calls for it.
That depends on your current glazing, the square metres of glass, the type of property and how you heat it. Moving from single glazing to insulating glazing saves far more than replacing recent double glazing. Milieu Centraal publishes current worked examples per property type. Soleca would rather not quote a figure it cannot guarantee, but the quotation states exactly which insulation value you get.
Triple glazing usually insulates better against noise than single or older double glazing, but for genuine noise exposure, such as alongside a busy road, dedicated acoustic glazing is the better choice. During the advice visit we assess what each room needs.
That varies by situation and by municipality. A dormer at the rear is often exempt; at the front it usually is not. Soleca assesses your situation during the survey and tells you what is required. We never assume a permit that has not yet been reviewed.
The installation itself is quick: the dormer is made to measure in the factory and assembled on site. The full route from quote through survey and production to installation takes longer, and any permit procedure runs alongside it. During the advice visit we give a realistic schedule for your situation.
A dormer makes the sloping loft usable across its full width as a bedroom, study or bathroom, and brings in daylight where there was only a roof window before. Exactly how much floor area you gain depends on the roof pitch and the width of the dormer.
In a lift-and-slide door, the sliding leaf is raised slightly as it opens, so it runs smoothly and presses firmly onto the seal when closed. That allows large panes of glass with good insulation and a low threshold. Which version suits your opening is decided when we measure up.
Façade cladding renews the appearance of the property and protects the structure behind it from wind and weather. Combined with insulation behind the cladding, it also improves comfort indoors. Soleca carries out cladding as part of the renovation work, using the same installers who fit your frames.
The price depends on the dimensions, the window layout, the glazing, the colour and extras such as ventilation grilles or insect screens. A fixed window is usually cheaper than a tilt-and-turn window with additional locking hardware. That is why Soleca does not publish from-prices, but quotes for your specific situation after measuring up.
Yes. The advice visit and the quotation are free and place you under no obligation. The quotation clearly sets out the chosen frames, glazing, options and installation, so you know what you are paying for.
Finance is available. Which form and conditions apply to your situation is discussed during the advice visit, so you know where you stand before accepting the quotation.

Insulating glazing may qualify for the Dutch ISDE grant, subject to conditions. The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) is the authority on current amounts, insulation requirements and conditions. Soleca will help you consider which specification can meet those requirements, but cannot guarantee an award.
You submit the application yourself to RVO, because the grant is issued in the property owner's name. Soleca provides the details and documentation you need for it, such as the chosen glazing and its insulation value.
The order and the deadlines are set out in the current ISDE conditions at RVO and can change from year to year. Always check them with RVO before placing an order so you do not miss a deadline. We flag this point during the process.
In four steps: a free quotation with advice on site, acceptance of the quotation, the survey with precise measuring, and installation by Soleca's own specialists. Production time sits between measuring and installation, because everything is made to the final dimensions.
Its own installers. The same people who fit your frames also hang the front door and carry out the cladding. That keeps communication direct and means you deal with one team throughout.
Most frame installations are completed within a single day. A larger project, or a combination with a dormer or cladding, takes longer; you are told the schedule in advance.
In most cases, yes. Work is done opening by opening, so the property is not left open longer than necessary. What is practical in your situation is agreed during the survey.
Soleca Renovaties works across South Holland and is based at Tinnegieterstraat 7 in Hoogvliet, Rotterdam. Because the working area is close by, advice, measuring and installation are quick to schedule and aftercare is easy to arrange.
Soleca is available Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 17:00. We are closed at weekends. If you email outside those hours, you will have a reply within two working days.
