The municipality describes Drievliet as a typical late-1970s residential court layout: culs-de-sac, inner squares and clusters of similar terraced homes. Construction started at the end of the 1970s. Repeating window divisions make a coherent plan across several openings possible.
Het Zand · Rijsoord · Oostendam
Village lanes and later expansion
Het Zand was added in phases from the 1990s. Rijsoord and Oostendam remain recognisable as village lanes along the dike. We match colour, woodgrain finish and window type to the architecture, and take extra care where listed status or the village appearance is involved.

During the appointment we look at more than the exterior. We discuss room by room how each window is used, where ventilation is needed, and whether noise, sun or security deserve extra attention. Whether replacing window frames needs consent depends on the address, whether the frame faces a public road, how much the façade changes, and any listed status. The municipality of Ridderkerk refers homeowners to the permit check in the Omgevingsloket. If in doubt, you can submit a concept request in advance; the municipality then also checks appearance.
